Jonathan is a founding partner of Lextrust and has been a member of the Luxembourg Bar since 2006. Recognised for his strategic insight and pragmatic approach, Jonathan advises international fund sponsors, family offices, asset managers and investment banks on the structuring, launch and lifecycle management of both regulated and unregulated investment vehicles, including UCITS, SIFs, SICARs, securitisation platforms and bespoke private asset structures.
With more than two decades of experience, Jonathan combines legal precision with financial acumen. Before founding Lextrust, he held senior positions at a Big Four audit firm, a Magic Circle law firm, and a top-tier Luxembourg business law firm. This international background allows him to navigate complex, cross-border structuring matters with confidence and clarity.
Jonathan works closely with sophisticated clients who value discretion, agility and deep expertise in the Luxembourg legal landscape.

Jérémie joined Lextrust as a partner in November 2023. He is specialized in corporate law and assists on the full spectrum of corporate transactions from M&A, company creation, reorganization and restructuring to relocation as well as corporate financing and debt restructuring. Jérémie is also active in tax law and advises on tax (re)structuring.
He advises independents, small & middle size enterprises, as well as an international clientele consisting of private equity firms, multinational groups, investors, (Ultra) High-Net-Worth-Individuals.
He also supports young entrepreneurs and start-ups with the initial structuring of their projects, fundraising rounds and exits. Jérémie is also a board advisor or a non-executive board member for start-ups and clients that he represents and advises.
Before joining Lextrust, he worked more than 12 years in a leading independent Luxembourg law firm and then in the Luxembourg office of a UK-based international law firm.
Jérémie holds a Master’s degree in European Business Criminal law from the University of Luxembourg and Université Nancy 2.

Lars is a Founding Partner of Lextrust and has a rich background in national and international business.
As a Luxembourg national with an international career, he represents and advises Luxembourg and foreign corporations on complex national and cross-border matters and litigations, including but not limited to corporate, commercial, contractual, civil, intellectual property and financial industry related affairs.
Lars is also a non-executive board member of several Luxembourg companies.
Prior to founding Lextrust, Lars already had an international career within the financial industry and subsequently was a partner of two other law firms.

Specializing in civil, commercial, contract and criminal law Thomas represents both national and international clients.
He has served as a board member of the Luxembourg Bar Association and was designated by the Ministry of Justice to participate in reforming the Luxembourg Criminal Code.
Prior to founding Lextrust, Thomas was a partner at another law firm.

Maïlys is Counsel at Lextrust, with expertise in administrative, corporate, contract, liability, and labour law.
Maïlys joined Lextrust in 2020 after having previously worked for another Luxembourg firm.
While her initial focus was on administrative law, Maïlys has expanded her practice to advise clients and lead litigation in various areas of private law, including corporate, contract, liability, and labour law.
With a strong academic background, including a doctorate and former experience as a study program director at the Institut National du Service Public (formerly ENA), a “Grande école” dedicated to the recruitment, initial and continuing training of senior executives and civil servants of the state, Maïlys has maintained an involvement in higher education through the Consumer Law Clinic of the University of Luxembourg.

With his extensive expertise in civil, banking and commercial law, Jean-Marie represents and advises Luxembourg and foreign clients with respect to different types of national and international transactions and litigations, and has an extensive knowledge in succession planning.
Jean-Marie is a member of the Luxembourg Bar since 1997 and the former head of legal of a Luxembourg bank. He further teaches his expertise in different professional training institutes, such as the House of Training and the Frankfurt School of Finance.
Prior to joining Lextrust Jean-Marie was a partner in different law firms.

Senior Associate
Sara is a Senior Associate at Lextrust, advising clients across civil, commercial, social security, and intellectual property law. Originally qualified in Italy, Sara brings broad international experience to her role, and is an active member of the Employment Law Specialists Association.
Before becoming a member of the Luxembourg Bar, Sara was a member of the Venice Bar, in which capacity she gained substantial experience at different Italian law firms before joining Lextrust.
